Dr. Wesley Wong

Dr. Wesley Wong graduated from Adelaide University and has done a lot of work with indigenous medicine prior to joining Tusmore. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice medicine and Indigenous medicine.

Dr. Shane MacLaren

Dr. Shane MacLaren graduated from Flinders University in 1993. He has worked in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Repatriation General Hopsital, Womens & Childrens Hospital and currently also works at Ashford Hospital in emergency department. He has a special interest in men's health and diabetes. He is fluent in Spanish

Dr Sien Tan

Dr Sien graduated in 2010 from the University of Adelaide. He has a special interest in chronic disease management, paediatrics, preventative medicine and skin lesion removals/excisions. He also inserts and removes implanons. Fluent in Malay.

 

Dr Sien is able to provide:

  • Wedge resection - surgery for ingrowing nails

Dr. Richard Taverner

Dr Richard Taverner graduated from Adelaide University in 2007. He spent eight years training in paediatrics before settling on general practice as a career, and has spent time working for MedStar and in various emergency departments around the country. He is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. 

He has extensive experience in caring for children from the newborn period and enjoys seeing patients of all different ages. 

 

Dr Taverner enjoys managing complex as well as simple issues, and has an interest in family medicine, parenthood and mental health.

Dr Rachel Tan

Dr Rachel graduated from University of New South Wales in 2010. She has a special interest in mental health, chronic disease management and preventative medicine and inserts & removes implanons. Fluent in Malay.

Dr. Thusitha Abegunawardene

Dr Thusitha attained her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1993. She relocated to Australia in 1995 and obtained her training from Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Modbury Hospital and The Queens Elizabeth Hospital. She has been an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2003 and worked extensively for 17 years in Mount Barker, Bedford Park and Norwood.

She has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and Diabetes. She is a very kind and compassionate healthcare professional that always makes her patients feel comfortable and cared for.

As a bilingual doctor, Dr Thusitha is able to speak English and Sinhalese.
